The 'Previous Entries menu' is a feature that allows users to see all the entries that they or other users confirmed, listed by date, and to re-use that information to create new time entries.
Where to access it
The History view is available through the clock icon that shows up on the top right corner of the description field. It then shows all your or your colleagues' previously submitted entries with most recent at the top. Once a matter is selected you will only see the entries related to that matter.
How it works
When you click on the clock icon, you will see a list of confirmed time entries and copy the fields that you would like to add to your new entry. It can be a single field - Time, Activity, Description, etc. - you need to click on a needed value, or all the fields at once, if you wish to replicate an old entry - just click on the 'copy' column shown to the right of each line.
You can also see what other users posted for that entry by clicking on 'Show everyone entries', that allows you to increase the narrative and time consistency of the invoicing when working with multiple colleagues on the same matters or when having recurrent tasks.
Please keep in mind that if you don't see the 'Show everyone entries' switch at the top right of the view, it means that your company limited this view to only your own previous entries.
If the 'Show everyone entries' is enabled for an account, this view will display all confirmed time on the matters that weren't flagged as Restricted, Internal or Insider.
