How does TIQ knows in which matter am I working?
TIQ integrates with the DMS/PMS/ERP of your law firm. So, when carrying any task (document, meeting, email, etc.), if the user assigns it with the Client/Project in that DMS/PMS/ERP, then the match works 100% of the times and with 100% of accuracy.
On the other hand, we have a couple of additional ways to make some Matter guessing, that need to be activated per account:
- One type of matching is when TIQ recognizes a match if the matter code or client name is present on the subject, body (only first 50 characters) or any other readable field for TIQ of an email or a calendar meeting, as you were mentioning on your email.
- Another type of matching is ‘matching by domain’ (from emails recipients/senders). Scenario: you receive an email that wasn't matched at first but you confirmed that suggestion as booking belonging to a specific Matter, let's call it "Example Matter 1". The next emails that you receive from the same contact are automatically suggested by Tiq with the Matter "Example Matter 1”.
